Approach For The Question Of Jiyuan City Tourism Human Resources

As entering the 21st century, it is increasingly becoming the key of promoting the economic development to strengthen the human capital investment and improve human resources quality. Tourism is knowledge-intensive and labor-intensive industry. The nature of "with people" determines that the competitiveness of tourism industry depends on the quality of human resources. So human resources development becomes significant to the tourism industry. As one of the second groups of "China Excellent Tourism City", Jiyuan City is an emerging industrial tourist city, with good tourist resource endowment and strongly practical need for sustainable development through developing the tertiary industry and adjusting the industrial structure. Studying it’s tourism human resources is conducive to accurately analysis and position it’s weak point, and so provide countermeasures for the effective implementation of human resource development.Many scholars in and out of domestic have analyzed human resources in tourism from different perspectives. In this paper, based on the literature study, the author used human capital theory, motivation theory and other related theories, adopted the methods of research and literature analysis, studied the issues of Jiyuan City Tourism Human Resources in depth and systematic.In this paper, the author from the tourism administration’s perspective, made a large number of references of Jiyuan City Tourism Human Resources Survey data. From the age structure, sex structure, salary levels and other point of view, the author analyzed the status of Jiyuan tourism human resources, generalized the problems of Jiyuan tourism human resource and the causes of the problems. Thereby the author proposed some targeted measures in speeding up the development of the tourism industry, strengthening the existing human resources and training management, the introduction of high-end talent, optimizing the social atmosphere and other, which are of great significance to the future tourism development of Jiyuan.
