Tianjin-hebei Port Logistics Capability Evaluation

With the rapid development of the global economy and trade, the port as an importantlink connecting surface transport, construction and social development in the nationaleconomy is playing an increasingly important role. Modern Port increasingly becomingthe nerve center of an integrated transport network, its function has gradually developedinto a comprehensive transit from transportation logistics center, shouldering achieveefficient logistics and stimulating economic development in the hinterland of the task. Portlogistics capabilities not only determines the entire port system efficiency, but alsocompetitiveness of the port and surrounding economic development have a significantimpact.The main purpose of this study is to analyze the development and the logisticscapabilities of the port of Tianjin-Hebei region to construct the comprehensive evaluationindex system and use the fuzzy matter element method to evaluate Tianjin-Hebei portlogistics capability, in order to increase port logistics capabilities, regulate and promote theport logistics to modern logistics direction.Firstly, the related domestic and foreign research background and significance aredescribed, and the ability to port logistics and port logistics related theories are outlined, aslater studies lay the theoretical foundation.Secondly, by analyzing the port of Tianjin-Hebei development status evaluation indexsystem based on the principle of the macro environment from the port, port infrastructure,port logistics capabilities and scale comprehensive services in four areas port38indicatorsbuilt Tianjin-Hebei port logistics capability evaluation index system.Again, using the coefficient of variation method to determine the weight of eachindex; using fuzzy matter-element method to calculate the Tianjin-Hebei region logisticscapabilities.Finally, based on the evaluation results were analyzed, from infrastructureconstruction, customer service, personnel development and other five put forward toenhance the capacity of the port logistics Tianjin-Hebei and recommendations to facilitate the development of port logistics.
