Study On Collaborative Model Of Vehicle Product Development With Integrated Systems Based-on SOA

Now the global market environment is becoming more and more personalized. Inthis environment, customers’ demand changes quickly, product delivery becomesshorter and the requirement for quality is also improved. So the traditional productdevelopment model no longer adapts to the demand of market which is changing allthe time. Meanwhile, automobile companies as a typical discrete manufacturers, haslonger product development cycle because of complex product structure, numerousproduct category and quantity which makes automobile company couldn’t react to themarket quickly and become harder to be managed.So as to cope with the challenge from the market environment changing andinformation technology developing, automobile company needs to establish acollaborative model of vehicle product development with integrated systems based-onSOA, according to company’s actual situation. Thereby, it can manage product datawhich is complex and numerous, business process, information flow effectively.Meanwhile, in order to diverse the products, control cost and guarantee the productquality, it needs to try best to decrease the design defects during the productdevelopment. Thus it can improve the problems such as longer development cycle,higher cost and so on, which is caused by design defects.This paper starts with vehicle product development process, vehicle productdevelopment management, cross system information interactive in informationenvironment, collaborative product development based on PDM. Then, it analyses theprocess of collaborative vehicle product development deeply. The analysis shows thatthe process of information in support of vehicle product development mainly hassome issues including long development cycles, high costs, information data delay ordistortion due to the low degree of integration of information systems and designdefeats.On the basis of studying service-oriented architecture enterprise applicationintegration environment and vehicle collaborative development business process, thispaper puts forward the collaborative model of vehicle product development inintegrated environment which mainly includes information interactive sharing basedon SOA, collaborative product development mechanism and collaborative securitypolicy. Based on information interactive sharing, it sets up product developmentcollaborative mechanism with both inside and outside the company. Furthermore, it builds knowledge secure model in integrated environment and proposes collaborativesecurity policies, according to the secure conflict in the process of collaborativeproduct development.Finally, the theoretical results will be applied to the actual product developmentprocess of automobile companies. And it will take the construction andimplementation of integrated enterprise system based on SOA as an example. It alsodescribes the steps of integrated platform construction. The practical applicationshows: SOA-based architecture for collaborative product development can effectivelydecrease the redesign and identify design issues in advance, thus reducingdevelopment costs and improving product quality.
