With the rapid development of economy,human resource has become one of the most importantresources for enterprise survival and development. And as we all know,80%of business performancedepends on the managers,who accounted for20%of the total number of employees.We can seemanagers make a significant contribution to business performance.And middle-level managers is thebackbone of managers. Therefore,middle-level managers play an increasing role in the enterprise.However, with the growing workload and work pressure,middle-level managers prone to physicalexhaustion, depression, that is job burnout. Meanwhile,although some surveys show that the level ofjob burnout of Chinese middle-level managers is very high,few researchers research that field. So it isimportant and urgent to study on job burnout of middle-level managers.Based on this, after the theoretical analysis of job burnout, this paper finds P-O Fit to someextent has an impact on job burnout. Therefore, based on the theoretical analysis of P-O Fit, with thecombination of characteristics and working characteristic of the middle-level managers, this paperanalyzes the specific matching elements of every dimension of P-O Fit,and constructs job burnoutmodel of Chinese middle-level managers basing on the P-O Fit theory.Based on drawing lessons from predecessors for questionnaires of P-O Fit and job burnout, thispaper designed its own questionnaire and released them in mainland covering east China, south China,southwest China and north China regions. Through the mathematical statistics analysis by SPSS19.0and AMOS,this article validates assumptions and models, and further improves and perfect thetheoretical model in this paper.At the end, the paper gives a series of countermeasures andrecommendations about how to reduce the level of job burnout by improving the matching degree ofmiddle-level managers,and gives the future of this topic after giving summaries and existinglimitations of this paper.
