Research On The Relationships Among The Network Competence, The Technological Capability And The Ability Of Independent Innovation

With the background of the complicated network environment and the technology changing rapidly,enterprises no longer only dependent on the possession of the technological capacity to gaininnovation. The network competence has also become a major resource of the ability of independentinnovation in the modern enterprise. That the network competence and the technological capacityhave interacted with each other results the high ability of independent innovation for the enterprise.Although the technological capacity has been regarded as the main resource, the network hasgradually become the premise for the enterprise innovation. The internal technical ability is not theonly prerequisite and the behavior of network has become a precondition for the ability ofindependent innovation. This paper fully has research on the relationships among the networkcompetence, the technological capability and the ability of independent innovation, and the interactionmechanism.The author has deep explored the connotations, measurements, and the relations. Then we proposetheoretical models and corresponding assumptions based on the relationships among the networkcompetence, the technological capability and the ability of independent innovation by domestic andforeign research. Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, correlationanalysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods by collecting245valid questionnaires, wedo an empirical test by IBM SPSS19.0and AMOS17.0software and draw conclusions as followings.The network competence is divided into four dimensions, including network strategic competence,network building competence and network relationship competence. The technological capability isdivided into four dimensions, including personnel capability, equipment capability, informationcapability, organization capability. We could measure the ability of independent innovation from threeaspects, which contain the input, the output and the environment of the independent innovation. In thefour dimensions of the network competence and the technological capability, all have significantnegative effect on the ability of independent innovation, except network building competence andequipment capability. We have explored the relationships and the interaction mechanism.In this study, the paper is not only be innovative in theory, but also have some guiding significanceto increase the ability of independent innovation from new perspectives, which is a importantenlightenment function.
