Astudy On Re-employment Of Land-expropriated Farmers In China

In China, there are a lot of land expropriated with the rapid development of urbanization.Then, there are also a large number of landless peasants, which will be an increasing trend.After the farmers are expropriated their land, with the limited capital and their own low skills,they become the proletarians in new generation. The employment of landless peasants is aserious social problem. Owing to the political system in our country, the fierce competitionfor jobs, and the lower quality about landless peasants, the problem of landless peasants inemployment has been far-reaching impact on the politics, economy and life in China.Government and thousands of scholars have attached great importance to the employmentproblem of landless labor, and they also have taken some measures to solve this problem.However, there are still many barriers in the process of re-employment of landless peasants.Therefore, in the new historical period, it is important that how to ensure that the landlesspeasant get a job, which also an issue need to be addressed on the urbanization of our country.Investigating and analyzing the problem of the employment of landless labor, which will beimportant and significative.Based on the research of investing a number of landless peasants in Xi’Xian NewDistrict, and combine with statistical data derived from the survey, I become to get a deepunderstanding on employment problems of landless peasants at present. From above, Ianalyze the factor impacting on the employment of landless peasants, and adopt relevantknowledge on management, and learn from foreign experience, then, I further hard study thefundamental ways to solve the employment problem of landless peasants. It is not feasible tosolve the employment problem of landless peasants the government alone, but the wholecommunity work together. Firstly, government should reform the system on compensation ofland expropriation, the registration system, job training and employment of landless peasants.Secondly, we should attach great importance to develop tertiary industry, revitalize ruralenterprises, explore community employment resources, and encourage those who expropriateland from farmers to promote employment on landless peasants, and then, we can also takegreat efforts to expand exporting on labors. Thirdly, it is necessary to change the concept ofemployment of landless peasants, and improve their quality on jobs, and strengthen self-awareness and entrepreneurial skills.The article consists of six parts, namely,“Introduction”,“the theory on the employmentproblem of landless peasants”,“an empirical analysis of the employment problem of landlesspeasants”,“the reasons on the employment of landless peasants”,“the experience andinspiration to solve the employment of landless peasants problems from developed countries”,and “suggestions to solve the employment problem of landless peasants”.
