The Study Of The Relevance Between The Consumption Construction And The Industrial Structure In Hunan Province

As the process of China’s new industrialization and urbanization accelerates, theoptimization and upgrading of industrial structure as well as the transformation of economicdevelopment mode has been becoming a prerequisite for maintaining the economy of thecountry developing well and fast. Theoretically and empirically, the aggregate demanddetermines the speed of development of various secretors, and the latter makes the industrialstructure get its own way. Thus, the regularity of changes in industrial structure is attributed tothe aggregate demand. The total demand of the market is divided into three aspects:consumption, investment and net exports. Specifically speaking, the demand of the net exportinfluenced directly by the effect of foreign residents consumption plays a little role as thereason of itself, while the demand of investment matters greatly thought caused by theresidential consumption and fluctuating greatly by the outside environment in the essence.Consumer demand less susceptible to outside influence possesses a rigidity to some extent,and gets a continuing role in boosting economic growth, so the consumer demand dominantsin the factors above and becomes the real power of the lasting economic growth, industrialstructure optimization and upgrading.Since the opening-up and reform, the economic construction and the GDP of Hunan Provincehave developed by leaps and bounds, and the Consumer-oriented style has been influencingincreasingly in Hunan province. On the other hand, as a province rising in the central regionof the country, optimizing the consumption structure of residents has become the premise ofpromoting economic growth, industrial restructuring and upgrading. For this reason, the paperanalyzes the relationship between the residents’ consumption structure and industrial structurein Hunan Province. Based on the Literature review and the theoretical and empirical study, thearticle concludes that there exists a state of sound and harmony between the residents’consumption structure and industrial structure in Hunan Province. Given the result above, topromote the need to achieve harmony between the consumer and industrial structure of HunanProvince, so reasonable to adjust the industrial structure to adapt to residents’ consumptionstructure change，to increase residents’ consumption to promote the optimization andupgrading of industrial structure.
