Research On Optimization Of Manufacturing Structure In Hunan Province Under Global Value Chain Reconstruction

Since the financial crisis in 2008,factors such as technological change and rising labor costs have promoted the "reconstruction of global value chains." In this context,China has also actively deployed national strategies such as the "Belt and Road" to seek new breakthroughs in economic development.However,China's industrial structure is developing well,but it is not sound.In recent years,defects have gradually emerged,which has exacerbated the downward pressure on the economy and the industrial structure needs to be transformed.Theoretical research on the relationship and structural optimization between the three industries has been ongoing,but the issue of the impact on the manufacturing structure under the background of global value chain reconstruction has not been fully studied.This paper uses theoretical and empirical analysis to analyze the optimization of manufacturing structure in Hunan Province under the background of global value chain reconstruction,which is beneficial to enrich the research content of industrial structure.This paper uses literature analysis,qualitative analysis,empirical analysis,and comparative analysis to analyze the global value chain reconstruction trend,the current situation of Hunan's manufacturing structure,the new requirements and optimization of Hunan's manufacturing structure under the global value chain.It is necessary to collect 18 years of data from 2000 to 2017,and conduct an empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the optimization of the manufacturing structure of Hunan Province from the two dimensions of rationalization and heightening of the industrial structure.Studies have shown that the degree of participation in the global value chain,labor costs,and technical level can promote the high level of manufacturing structure in Hunan Province,and there is an inhibitory effect on economic development.The global value chain status index and government expenditure have a positive effect on the rationalization of the manufacturing structure of Hunan Province,and there is a restraining effect on labor costs.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,put forward corresponding suggestions,such as policies to guide the manufacturing industry to conform to the global value chain reconstruction trend,improve labor productivity,enhance the manufacturing innovation drive capacity,and train and introduce high-quality talents.Promote the optimization of the manufacturing structure of Hunan Province.
