With the rapid developing of economic and growing of GDP, environmentpollution is increasing, economic and social development is facing an unprecedentedecological crisis, also harm to the people’s production and life. As a result,restrictingsocial and economic development. To achieve economic and social development andecological environment protection"win-win"situation, the sustainable and fast economicdevelopment, Especially in an important ecological niche in the mountain counties.It isnecessary to develop the local economy,but also to protect the ecological systemsecurity,seek ecological pathes is particularly important to economic and socialdevelopment.In this paper, in order to seek the ecological pathes, Yunyang County as an example,the ecological environment, the economic and social development situation and therelationship between environmental problems and economic development wereanalyzed. Assessment of the regional ecological environment were analyzed by dataanalysis and ecosystem services value (ESV). Economic and social development wereanalyzed by transverse and longitudinal analysis methods. The relationship betweeneconomic development and environmental issues were analyzed through theEnvironmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). The conclusions are as follows: In the first place,ESV assessment results showed that,Yunyang County’s ESV is huge.However, serioussoil erosion, reduced soil fertility; Mine reclamation rate is lower; Rural livestock,garbage,sewage and other pollution. In the second place, regional socio-economicdevelopment momentum is good, but a small amount, less developed. The third, EKCcurve fitting results showed that: there is a significant correlation between sewagegeneration, COD emissions, SO2emissions and GDP per capita. As the growth of theGDP per capita,environmental pollution indicators is upraised.The EKC curve in the leftside of the "dilemma" zone, and no turning point.For the above analysis results, the paper proposed pollution control approachesfrom ecological protection, ecological restoration, pollution control. For the problem ofeconomic development in the three industries, the paper proposed Eco-industrialway,such as implementation of ecological agriculture, ecological industry, eco-tourism.At the last, the paper selected ten indicators for clustering by using of Q cluster-minimum variance and Law.And Yunyang County will be divided into four ecological economic zone. Partition naming reflects the direction of eco-economic development.Moreover, compared with the existing studies, found that the center of town is fasteconomic growth over the2003development, Narrow and gathered in the upperYangtze River and the west. What’s more, Pay more attention to ecological andenvironmental construction and rational distribution of space.This paper argues that, Improve the ecological environment and develop eco-economy is an important factor for ecosystem security in important niches county, butalso the important ecological way of economic and social development.
