In the21st century, with the gradual improvement of information technology andthe rapid development of the market economy system, the competition is fierce in theconstruction industry of China, the construction industry as one of the pillar industriesof the national economy has great temptation broad market prospects, manycompanies join in this industry.In recent years, thanks to the contribution of the leading enterprises, theconstruction industry in Jiangxi develops very fast. Despite the Construction inJiangxi fierce market competition environment, GR Construction Company as one ofconstruction enterprises in province is a national construction general contractor levelqualified enterprises. However, in order to continue to survive and develop, thecompany must stand in the height of the strategic choice for the company’scompetitive strategy.In this paper, we take GR Construction Company as a research object andexplore its internal and external environment for the development of a detailedanalysis based on the existing theory of competitive strategy. Then, taking all andcombining the operating conditions and strategic objectives of GR ConstructionCompany, GR Construction Company must choose cost leadership strategy,differentiation strategy and decentralization strategy as a competitive strategy to gaincompetitive advantage. Finally, in order to effectively achieve differentiation strategy,the article proposes some strategies to implement.
