Research On The Relationship Of The Network Embededness, Knowledge Search And Collaborate Innovation Performance

With the dynamic attributes of the socio-economic environment and technologydevelopment continue growing, life cycles of technology shorten, companies who rely solelyon internal innovation activities, wholly integrate innovative resources within the enterprise,find it difficult to respond quickly to market environment changes, and achieve businessdevelopment, open innovation came into being, enterprises become embedded deeply ininnovation networks.Based on the background mentioned above, how companies improve performance intechnology cooperation innovation through existing networks and features of their networkslocations, draws widespread attention by researchers. However, a "network embeddednessparadox" appears after numerous studies, which is that scholars generally considered stronglinkages relationships in the innovation network are conducive to innovation performanceimprovement, but subsequent studies have found weak linkages can also promote innovationperformance. Paradox calls for further study to explore the factos that can moderate orimmediate the relationship between network embeddedness and performance of technologycooperation innovation.The study that to explore the impact mechanism of knowledge search act between therelationship of network embededness and performance of collaborative innovation, is in thebackground of innovation activities of enterprises become increasingly open and networkedembedded. Based on the review of the related literature, in this study the networkembeddedness is divided into the linkages, centrality and scale of network, impact mechanismof knowledge search act between the relationship of network embededness and performanceof technology innovation will be explored in this research. The results show that knowledgesearch playsa significant wholly mediator role between the centrality of networkembeddedness and the performance of innovation performance, and a partical mediator rolebetween the linkage of network embeddedness and the performance of innovationperformance, but knowledge search for the intermediary role of between scale of network andinnovation performance has not been supported by data.The purpose of this study is to explore the impact mechanism of knowledge search act between the relationship of network embededness and performance of collaborativeinnovation. Enterprises conduct knowledge search extensively and deeply through externalenvironment, to better integrate their existing networks and features of network location toeffectively manage their open innovation activities to improve innovation performance, gaincompetitive advantage and achieve benign and sustainable development of businesses.
