The Comprehensive Evaluation And Application Of Urban And Rural Transit System

With the rapid development of our country’s economy and the vigorously promotion ofthe urbanization process，the scale of urban construction is expanding. The flow of people，logistics，traffic，and information also gradually transfers to urban and rural areas. Theincreasingly close link between urban and rural areas，makes the travel frequency betweenurban and rural residents increased. As a bridge to contact the urban and towns，and facingthe growing demand，the urban and rural public transport plays a more and more importantrole. And urban and rural public transport is one of the important measures to develop andachieve integration of the urban and rural areas，so how to evaluate its effectiveness hasimportant significance for its future. Therefore，a comprehensive evaluation system ofurban and rural public transportation system research has important practical significance.Firstly，we summarize the experience in the public transportation system of domesticand international，about the selected indicators and evaluation methods. Then，according tothe previous experience，the characteristics of urban and rural public transport，we set up arelatively complete system of comprehensive evaluation of urban and rural publictransportation system. By analyzing the common evaluation methods，combined with thepurpose of evaluation，we select the DEA method and improve it to form an urban andrural public transportation system evaluation model that based on DEA method. Finally，inthree cities’ urban and rural public transportation systems as an example，verify the theoryand method of this paper，and achieve a good result.
