Research On Economy Influences And Total Functions Of City Circle In Central Yunnan Based On The Population Factors

This thesis takes the city economic circle in central Yunnan as the researchobject. Leslie population matrix model and the economic optimum population modelare used to analyse the demographic structure of cities in central Yunnan. A projectionabout the total number and the reasonable capacity of population has been made bythe way. The actual situation of the city economic circle in central Yunnan has beendissected according to the total amount of foreign function, which is on the basis ofthe measurement of economic impacts of the diffusion ranges and the locationentropy of cities’ main industries employment population. Compared with the urbanagglomerations whose economies are more developed in Sichuan andChongqing,many proposals about the future direction of construction of the cityeconomic circle in central Yunnan have been put forward.With the increasing level of urbanization, researches and analysises about thesize of urban population and the reasonable construction of industries play a vital rolein the development of the urban circle. After researches and analysises, the maincenter cities in central Yunnan will suffer from a series of problems, such as theincreasing population, the aging prominent, the small diffusion ranges of the conomicimpacts, the lack of rationality of the industrial structures, the slow developments ofthe non-central cities, the low overall levels of the secondary industry and the tertiaryindustry in central cities, the servious lack of advantageous industries and so on.
