The Measurement Of Inter-firm Relationship Quality In Supply Chain Based On Life Cycle

With the impetus of economic globalization, the uncertainty of external environment,and the increased demand of customer, the challenges faced by enterprises is also growing.In this background, more and more companies begin to cooperate, join the supply chain,establish good cooperation relations, maintain a high relationship quality, and improve theiroverall competitiveness, while the coordinated development of the supply chain will alsopromote the common benefit and achieve complementary resources and benefit sharing.Cooperative relationship quality in supply chain relate to the success of the entire supplychain operations management directly. Therefore, it is not only an important task to improvethe level of cooperation, but also the key to the supply chain co-operation that how tomeasure the relationship quality throughout the supply chain. Thus, it is of an importantsignificance to investigate the relationship quality problem in supply chain.This article which take relationship quality in supply chain as the research objective,the close relationship theory as the research foundation, build the measurement indexsystem of relationship quality in supply chain which include the relationship strength,relationship duration, relationship frequency, relationship diversity and relationshipfacilitation, relationship symmetry and the corresponding secondary indicators. Then, themethod of measurement weight is analyzed. Based on the summarizes of the advantages anddisadvantages of subjective and objective weighting method, and combination with supplychain partnership quality evaluation requirements, the triangular fuzzy number AHP andentropy method combination weighting is selected to measure relationship quality indexweight. Finally, with the gradual deepening of partnership, the relationship qualitymeasurement index weight changes in the supply chain is studied based on relationship lifecycle. The relationship life cycle is divided four stages: infancy, growth, maturity, decline.The first three stages of the life cycle are the study focal points. The article obtain the indexweight in different stage through a combined weight approach, and analyze the reasons forthe change of index weight. In infancy stage, corporate reputation, objectives and therelationship fairness is relatively important; in growth stage, trust, relationship commitment,the flexibility of solving problem is relatively important; in mature stage, the relationshipduration, relationship symmetry and relationship frequency relatively have large weights.Next,taken the infancy stage for example, the effectiveness and necessity of a combination weight method is analyzed by comparing the weight of combination weight method andtriangular fuzzy AHP analysis index weights. Finally, from a company perspective, themanagement revelation is proposed to improve the relationship quality, to promotesustainable development along the life cycle stages, to ensure a sustained and stable supplychain partnership.
