This paper mainly focuses on problems of the construction site, including thelabor-capital issues, the status of the main-subcontractor and the benefits of division. Byadopting unstructured interviews and research method of the field, three kinds ofworkers are included in the research. One part of the research was done in H city G site, and through the observation of the G site for a long time, we gained a wealth of fielddata. Another part of the survey was conducted in the rental houses in S city, during theperiod of the Spring Festival, the author visited many respondents who repeated theirexperience on the construction site. By the way of voice calls or the Internet, the restpart obtains information from on-line interviews.Through field research and in-depth interview, this paper try to suggest that in theprocess of the periodic production, construction site is an integrated production system. The friction and conflict exists in various interest groups on the construction site, butthe construction site is an organic combination of the overall production yet. With thechange of the phase production at the construction site, the interests of both sides oflabor and capital and its insides divide gradually. At the various stages of production,main-labor subcontractor in cooperation and confrontation between the two sides showsdifferent attitudes on the construction site.On the one hand, the main-labor subcontractor as the representatives of the capitalof the role can be understood by us. However another image of main-laborsubcontractor is easily ignored by us. In construction site, due to exploitation ofupstream layers of capital, the main-labor subcontractors often get the lowest places inthe capital circle. The main-labor subcontractors mediate the day-to-day conflict in theprocess of production and the two opposing sides of labor-capital mainly shows theconflict between supervisors (including main-labor subcontractor or monitor) andworkers. As the main-labor subcontractors have completed his mission, then unpaidwork happens, they stand on the position of the workers together with the workersagainst the capital gradually obvious. The transformation of this kind of role acceleratesthe labor conflicts becoming cute and the development of the unpaid events becomingworse. As a result, the interest of the form on the construction site is not the simple binary form between labor and capital. It has inherent complexity, and this requires ushaving diverse perspective view when we treat the interests of the relationship and thelabor-capital problems on the construction site.
