Migrant workers play a strategic role in the national economic and social development. The emergence of the migrant workers group opens a new chapter of peasants in China’s history, and has put a extremely profound influence on China’s modernization process. At present, our country is in the period of rapid urbanization, migrant workers would constitute the mainstream of urbanization. Obviously, promote the citizenization of migrant workers, accelerate them integrate into urban society is the fundamental way to solve the problem of migrant workers. Today, the Cenozoic migrant workers born after1980s is gradually replacing traditional migrant workers and become the backbone of China’s urbanization and modernization. However, this huge group are faced with various problems about their urban life and integration into the urban society, which hindered the transformation of their identity by migrant workers to citizens. Affected by specific environment and time, there are many differences between Cenozoic migrant workers and traditional migrant workers in culture, socioeconomic status and psychological state, etc. This paper discussed problems about Cenozoic migrant workers’ urban social integration and get some inspiration through analyze the Cenozoic migrant workers samples from20cities throughout the country, for provide some beneficial reference for the government to solve the problems of rural migrant workers.The main body of this article is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly introduces the era background of Cenozoic migrant workers’ city integration problem and significances of this topic, as well as research ideas and the main methods of this article. Chapter2as the research overview part, mainly reviewed references at home and abroad relates to how the floating population integrate into the urban society, and some research on new generation migrant workers. The third part is the empirical study, through the analysis of the sample from the cultural, social, economic and psychological three aspects,discussed how these factors exert influence on Cenozoic migrant workers’ urban social integration. Chapter4includes some revelations and try to put forward policy suggestions to improve the Cenozoic migrant workers’ status of urban integration. The fifth part is summary and outlook to future work.
