Xinjiang, named "Serindia" in ancient time, has vast land which accounting forone sixth of China’s land area that reached1.66million square kilometers. Xinjiang isa typical temperate desert climate, its topography is commonly known as the "threemountains sandwiched two basins ", with the country’s largest,world’s second largestdesert, and more than20rivers such as The Tarim River. Xinjiang is a multi-ethnicfusion settlements, which13nationalities of native peoples live here such as Uygur,Han, Kazak and Hui. Meanwhile, the mystery of the Islamic faith, exotic featuresarchitectural styles, made Xinjiang infinite charming. However, Xinjiang tourism andcultural goods industry have not fully utilized its rich cultural resources.Geographical serious deficiencies, and severe local cultural barriers, uneven productquality, service backward become major problems.Firstly, based on the theory of cultural ecology, this article researched on therelationship of regional culture and tourism, the status of regional culture andnon-material cultural heritage protection.The article proposed digital protectionmethod of intangible cultural heritage and a tourism cultural product design anddevelopment system. In the design process, with the analysis of user needs, based onproduction design semiotics, proposed a "Prototype-Output " concept planwhichstart from the5basic components: shape, color, pattern, material, texture,combined with rapid product performance and the "Folk Artist-Designer-Company"mode of production, to complete the rapid design and development of products.Secondly, this paper proposes a new media and outreach strategy based onnetwork platform, which provided a channel of regional cultural resources and culturegoods to propagating themselves, but also give tourists a chancetocontact localculture. Network platform using digital local culture data whichconsist of four partsas Scenery, Culture, Goods and Products and Communities, spreads regional culturetothe users.Based on the the theoretical studies, working on the System of Xinjiang CultureCreative Products Development and Design Innovation with regional culturalresources, designd Products such as "Xinjiang music flower","Building BlocksXinjiang""Islamic Architecture Seal" and other cultural goods which gained5patents,and developed "Xinjiang Land" network platform and APP which got a so ftware intellectual property.The development of tourism and cultural goods, is becoming the focus ofsociety’s attention. How to develop tourism and cultural development whileprotecting local culture from destruction, how to utilize cultural goods as a carrier tosteady regional cultural cohesion and to influence local life, should be wellconsidered.This article builtacultural product development system, starting both fromthe cultural prototypeand the final output to shape the basic composition, color,pattern, material and texture, want to be able to provide for rapid development oftourism and cultural goods are more reference value help.
