Study On The Development Of Culture-Technology Fusion Industry In Shanghai

Culture and technology in the process of evolution are closely linked to each other with interaction, mutual promotion and spiral growth. As long as they combine, the people-oriented and sustainable principle could be fully embodied, the transformation and application of new technology could be improved, and the material civilization of society could develop in a healthy way. The change of culture and technology from "selective engagement" to "fully integration" is not only the objective development law of cultural industry and scientific and technological industry, but also the specific expression of the influence that the third industrial revolution had on industrial development. The evolution of human history illustrates that culture and technology have long been associated with each other, and each combination of them was a great leap of human civilization.On the basis of analysis of STS theory, synergy theory, fusion theory and other basic theory and the literature review, this paper discussed the macro-environment (including politic environment, economic environment, social environment and technological environment) and micro-foundation (including strength, weakness, opportunity and threats) of culture-technology fusion industry in Shanghai by using PEST and SWOT. Afterwards, from the aspects of basic force and internal mechanism of culture-technology fusion industry, policy suggestions were provided for promoting the culture-technology fusion industry in Shanghai, based on the conclusion of foreign experience of developing culture-technology fusion industry.Through analyzing culture-technology fusion industry in Shanghai, this paper argues that:(1) when international economy is in the low point of development cycle and the regional economic development slowed down, actively developing culture-technology fusion industry can be a reasonable and effective way to adjust structure, accelerate transformation and seek new growth point;(2) during developing culture-technology fusion industry, emerging technology should be used to improve cultural Industry while culture should be used to promote scientific and technological industry, among which the most significant is realizing their mutual penetration and deeply integration. This will create new industrial formats, and finally lead the development of regional economy;(3) this research is simply a preliminary discussion of a case using culture-technology fusion industry in Shanghai as a practice example, aiming at drawing the attention of other researchers and continuing the follow-up research on this issue in detail.
