Research On Optimization Of Industrial Structure In Fuzhou Based On Eco-civilization

Fuzhou has witnessed a tremendous economic development since the reform and opening took place in last80s, however, more and more constraints arisen from the shortage of resource, environment and technology have been revealed along with the blossom, which brought enormous pressure onto the ecological environment, especially for those traditional industries. As the carrier of all kinds of economic activities, industry deservedly draws public’s attentions to its relationship with the environment. Thus, easing the conflicts between industrial development and ecological conservation by transforming the current structure, for the time being, is an imperative for Fuzhou’s sustainable economic growth. This article argues that at present stage, the challenge is to provide consistent conservation while speeding up the development, and the only solution is to accelerate the change of development scheme, the ultimate goal of which is to scientifically and ecologically optimize the industrial structure and its productivity. A well-organized industrial structure acts as a catalyst for ecological civilization, and they mutually benefit each other, and only by constructing industrial structural systems according to the process of ecological civilization, abandoning the long-existing extensive growth at the cost of high input, high consumption and high pollution, can we balance the economic construction and ecological civilization, and reach the win-win situation.Aiming to balance the economic develpment and ecological civilization, we try to satisfy the requirements of optimization from an ecological perspective. In this article, we firstly initiate the qualitative analysis on Fuzhou’s industrial development using descriptive statistics, followed by establishing an ecological civilization evaluation index system, thereby evaluating the status quo of Fuzhou’s industrial structure by applying vertical and horizontal analysis. Based on these, hopefully, we could eventually propose correspondig practical strategies to further Fuzhou’s ecological civilization reform.
