Research On The Relationship Between Economic Growth And Industrial Changes

Economic growth,as an economic hot issue,has always been the focus of domesticand foreign scholars. With the process of economic growth,the industries of countrieshas been changed.Their economy based on agriculture has evolved to industrializedand pluralistic economy.This seems to have been a common phenomenon.To observethe changes of industries,the easiest way is to observe the change of three industries.Inother words,there is a certain relationship between economic growth and changes ofthe three industries.As a developing country,china has a serious imbalance problem in economicdevelopment.We can not study the relationship between economic growth andindustrial structure only form the perspective of the hole country.We also need conductthe study from the perspective of different regions in china.As an important province inwestern china,Sichuan need rescover and development urgently after the earthquakeand financial crisis.At the same time,Sichuan face tasks to promote economicrestructuring in order to complete the target of five-year plan.Therefore,we chooseSichuan province to conduct our study.This article includes five parts.The first part introduces the background of ourstudy,our idears and methods,innovations and shortcomings. The first chapter, as areview of the literature, focus on the traditional theory and research achievements ofthe relationship between the industrial structure and economic growth. The secondchapter, we introduce the present situation and development of the industrial structurein Sichuan Province.We conduct empirical research of the relationship betweenindustrial structure and economic growth with VAR model and impulse responsesanalysis in the third chapter. In the final chapter, we draw conclusions from the formerchapters.
