Research On TAOBAO Joint Distribution Logistics Model Based On Order Integration

As the largest online shopping in Asia Pacific region, TAOBAO solved the problems about information flow, capital flow and business flow. However, logistics has become the bottleneck of TAOBAO for the further development with the development of Chinese e-commerce network shopping market. In recent years, TAOBAO’s share decreased year by year in the network shopping market, so it is for urgent to solve the logistics bottleneck problem.This paper analyzes the electronic commerce environment and competitive environment of TAOBAO with the ways of literature analysis, quantitative analysis and the combination of theory and practice firstly. Secondly, a large number literature are read about e-commerce logistics and joint distribution, and it is found that it is a good way to solve TAOBAO’s logistics bottleneck problem by joint distribution thought. Thirdly, a new TAOBAO’s logistics model is built under the guidance of the above literature.In this paper, the biggest contribution is to build a feasible and effective TAOBAO’s logistics model based on joint distribution and order integration. The order integration is starting from the joint distribution thought to reduce logistics costs, improve logistics efficiency and service level, which simple the physical link to online order integration. Then the nearest joint distribution finished delivery. So the new TAOBAO’s logistics model is not only better than the current TAOBAO’s logistic model to reduce costs, improve efficiency and service level, but also better than the joint distribution model of common sense. Because it reduces physical links to a large extent.
