Research On Communication Management Of Tandem Cold Mill Of T Steel And Iron Company

In China’s rapid economic development stage, more and more construction projects emerge in large number, which increasingly requires the theory of project management at a higher and higher level. The research on project management theory has shifted to focus on human resource management and project communication management as project management theory upgrading and improving with the practice of project management. Project communication has always run throughout the whole life cycle of the construction of the project and linked to the other knowledge modules of project management. When management technology reached a certain level, as a soft means in the process of project operation, communication and coordination is becoming the key factor heading to success or failure. Being a kind of flexible management means, the project communication management doesn’t own intuitionistic characteristics as other knowledge modules do. Therefore project communication management also has a lot of uncertainty to analyze and solve in particular other than setting up standardized procedure to enhance its maneuverability.The paper was focused on the research on project communication management of T steel company, based on the relevant theories of management communication and project communication management. The project department was regarded as the hub of communication, through qualitative analysis on three aspects like its internal communication, the communication and coordination between external units and its employees, and the communication gear-up between foreign experts and Chinese workers on site. The study was performed on the basis of survey, interview and the writer’s actual experience on site. Combined with the real situation of the project, effective optimization scheme was recommended aiming at the existing problems about round three aspects above.
