Study On Evaluation And Optimization Of J Company’s Working Capital Management Performance

Under the background of the era of economic globalization, working capitalmanagement of companies are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges,cases of mismanagement of working capital leads to bankruptcy happen everywhere.In recent years, more and more people realize that in today’s highly competitivesociety, the profitability and viability of working capital management has a criticalinfluence on a corporate, more and more scholars begins to study the theory ofworking capital management, and some management ideas such as supply chainmanagement and customer relationship management are blended into it.This paper adopts standardized research combined with case analysis researchmethod, and selects J company as a case study object which is a subsidiary of China’slargest cement producer. Firstly, on the basis of the reading of vast amount ofliterature, this paper reviews the research on working capital management at homeand abroad, then evaluates the status quo; secondly, under the guidance of workingcapital management theory and supply chain management theory, this paper usespropose by Wang Zhuquan scholar for reference about re-orientation on theclassification of working capital under the supply chain, and accordingly buildsworking capital management performance evaluation system; Third, for J companyas an example, its working capital are divided by new means, using the workingcapital turnover period index to evaluate the working capital managementperformance, main achievements and problems in all aspects of working capitalmanagement are analyzed, and then puts forward the countermeasures andimplementing security solutions. Finally, the conclusions of the paper are summarized,and in the guidance of the integration of supply chain management theory, theresearch of the cement’s working capital management is the scholars’ future.Overall, integrating supply chain management theories into the working capitalmanagement and fully considering the impact of various factors on the supply chainbusiness process management of working capital, the method of working capitalmanagement has greatly improved. via analyzing and summarizing specific cases,both makes up for lack of working capital theory and helps enterprises to formulatescientific policy, so it has very important significance for both theory and practice.
