The Study Of Dominant Function Positioning On Complex City In China

Complex city is the product of economic development to some extent. On account of the high complex that makes it not only can satisfy all-round demand of different consumers,but also create huge economic and social benefits for developers and governments. Thus, consumer, developers and governments have made great contribute to the rapid development of complex program in China. Almost all the province and cities across China are in the process of building complex city program. At the same time, there are various problem appears, but positioning failure is the worst. Positioning plays an important role in guiding for complex projects, and largely determine the success or failure of it. Dominant function is a core driving force of the whole project, also is a feature of the project, so a good dominant function positioning is the key to the success of projects. This article is based on the thought and it will provide a scientific methods about dominant function positioning. Hoping to guide the practice better and maximize the value of complex program.This article has six chapters, each one has been a part. Chapter one is mainly describe the background of the theme, overseas and domestic research status and the theory support and so on. Chapter two is to study the type of dominant function, in this article, the writer has classified them into five types:commercial-oriented, office-oriented, hotel-oriented, living-oriented, entertainment-oriented, and then summarize their traits, functional grouping and their unique developmental conditions. Chapter three is to analysis the development status and the problem about city complex in China. Chapter four is to provide the solution for the first question that have mentioned in chapter two. Chapter five is to provide the solution for the second question that have mentioned in chapter two. In this chapter, the writer has imitated the way of ascertaining leading industry to confirm the dominant function of city complex, most important is writer has created matching rate of industry core competence into criterion layer and use AHP to define the weight of all criterions those make the positioning agree with actual better. Chapter six as the end of the whole article, it indexes the final study conclusion, shortage of the research and subsequent research in the future.
