Automobile industry is an important part of national economic development.Cars involve multistage parts suppliers, processing assembly and sales departmentand so on in the process of production and sales. Therefore, its industrial chain islonger, which can absorb so many excellent talents employment. At the same time,the auto market which is huge and highly developed plays an important role inpromoting economic development. In2013, according to statistical analysis of theChina association of automobile manufacturers, both automobile and productionsales are more than20million vehicles, and continue to maintain rapid growth,whose rate is9.6%. Global economic integration, however, is a double-edged sword.On the one hand, foreign car companies which brought a huge sums of money,advanced technology and management experience, promote the upgrade anddevelopment of China’s automobile industry, and emerge a large number ofwell-known domestic joint venture and independent auto brand, on the other hand,foreign cars in the core technology research and development has obviouscompetitive advantages. Productions of high quality well master the domesticconsumer demand characteristics, and make Chinese prefer imports. Therefore, inthe fierce competitive environment, China’s automobile enterprises should correctlyface opportunities and challenges, and actively promote the competitiveness of theenterprise. On the basis of the analysis of the enterprise’s advantages and shortages,country should make effective competition policy to enable our country automobileto gain a foothold in the fierce market competition.This paper summaries the research of enterprise competitiveness of the scholarsat home and abroad, and has a more profound understanding and awareness on theconcept of enterprise competitiveness and competitiveness theory. Enterprisecompetitiveness is mainly made up of enterprise resources, enterprise environmentand enterprise competence. The three kinds of the constitute elements are subdividedin this paper, and decomposed into a number of different indicators. Using the factoranalysis method22listed automobile enterprises was analyzed. Finally studiesshows that the five major factors affects the automobile enterprise competitiveness,which are solvency and ability development factor,scale factor, growth ability factor, general ability factor and profit factor. And these influence factors are analyzed andcompared. Based on the empirical research of automobile enterprise competitivenessevaluation index system of listed company,this paper analyzes the status quo andexisting problems of our country automobile industry. Finally, according to the indexsystem of competitiveness of the empirical results and existing problems of autoindustry in our country, this paper proposes improving enterprise technologyresearch and development ability, the enterprise scale effect, attention to thedevelopment of enterprise sustained growth ability, developing the independentbrand, increasing policy support and guidance and the attention to the cultivation ofautomobile talents.
