The automotive industry for many developed countries including the emerging industrialized countries and in the world has important influence in the developing countries such as China are extremely important industry. Process includes many production and management of spare parts, assembly, etc., includes professional machinery manufacturing, automobile, burning motor, photoelectric, communications, materials, simulation, and so on a series of professional disciplines. Visible, the auto industry is not only long industrial chain, and involve wide, ranging from advanced technology to advanced technology. At the same time, the car industry has its peculiar industry characteristic, especially in the industrial chain huge, accordingly its output as a commercial industry is also very handsome and high mechanical and electrical integration, therefore also higher technical content, involves professional and industry chain is very long and wide, industry is of great relevance. To development of automobile industry, we must have a higher level of metallurgy and forging, thus developing a car industry means a industrial cluster development and its rich technical content and concentration of capital and management, which means that value-added space is large, the industrial cluster effect can affect the face also is very wide, for a city, it has very significant economic contribution, leading role on regional economy, the surrounding area residents income and living standard of the enterprise. Chinese consumer enthusiasm on automobile ascendant, greatly boost the domestic demand, promoting the development of the economic transformation and upgrade. According to the data provided by the China association of automobile manufacturers,(2015) from the previous year, China’s auto production both breakthrough twenty-four million, lead the world for seven years and remain top of the world’s largest car market. However, China’s market economy has been open since 1978, has step by step into the world economy, especially at the beginning of this century’s accession to the WTO, means that the Chinese market has been almost completely open to the world’s largest economies. International communication is conducive to the spread of advanced experience, foreign enterprises brought a lot of money, advanced technology and efficient management methods, to help the Chinese auto industry structure upgrading and development, and at the same time also spawned many of Chinese car brand. Of course, just like a coin has two sides, open markets for China’s enterprises is not so easy, foreign car companies can compete for the Chinese market are multinational auto companies, they have rich experience in market operation,each have a large number of core patents, independent research ability is very strong, product quality, good user experience, Chinese consumers love. Objectively give great pressure to Chinese car companies. In front of the market, China’s car companies can recognize the development trend of the industry, to achieve the enemy and know yourself, to find out the advantages of its own, accurate positioning in the market, to seek their own survival and development space, so as to choose the right strategy, about life and death.This paper summarizes the researchers from all over the world on the research of enterprise competitiveness, on the basis of trying to accurately define the concept of enterprise competitiveness related terms, understanding of the related concepts and theoretical basis.
