The Empirical Analysis On The Agricultural Eco-efficiency Research Based On The DEA Model

Agriculture is the basic industry which has great effect on national economy and the people’s livelihood as well as the economic and social development. Agricultural eco-efficiency is an important indicator to measure the comprehensive agricultural production capacity. Among over2000counties which are under China’s jurisdiction, the common properties of more than60percent counties which belong to mountainous agriculture counties are that agriculture plays an great part in national economy,the eco-environment is weak and the protection of agricultural eco-efficiency has great meaning for the long-term development of economy, society and eco-environment.Therefore, it is necessary to quantitatively evaluate the agricultural eco-efficiency.These paper, based on the agricultural eco-efficiency evaluation study,studies the connotation of eco-efficiency and the relations between related concepts. The thesis also introduces the methods of evaluating eco-efficiency and explains the reasons to choose DEA method as the measuring method for the thesis. Taking the typical mountainous agriculture county-Wuping county Fujian province as an example, on the basis of analyzing the present situation of eco-agriculture for Wuping county, the thesis establishes the evaluated indicator for eco-efficiency of Wuping county by complying with the principles and the established bases of evaluated indicator. The data that is measured by using DEA-CCR and DEA-BCC models to analyze static efficiency of Wuping county indicates that the whole condition of agriculture eco-efficiency is in a good condition though many towns and villages are still in inefficiency Product in-frontier. The thesis also ignores each inputting indexes item by item except of the index of farming population. The paper tries to analyze the sensitive characteristics of ignoring the index among various villages and towns. It also measures and analyzes the dynamic efficiency of survey regions by DEA-Malmquist index method, then comes up with a new target values on invalid target referring to effective values based on the model. This article puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the agricultural eco-efficiency of agricultural county in mountainous areas on industry, country, and social public.lt is designed to provide a reference to evaluating the efficiency of its agriculture ecology among agricultural counties in mountainous areas and realize the sustainable development and ecological civilization of agriculture.
