Analysis On The Export Trade Situation And The International Competitiveness Of Agricultural Products In Shandong Province

Shandong is a big province in agricultural products production，processing and foreign tradeof China. Agricultural products processing and export in Shandong has make importantcontribute to rural economy, farmers income and exchange earnings. However, from thedevelopment situation of agricultural trade in Shandong, there are many problems to resolve inthe development, for example the development of the agricultural resources and theenvironment has become increasingly obvious restraint; the export market is too concentrative;the problem of agricultural products’ safety and the increase of barriers to international market.In this context, the international competitiveness of Shandong agricultural products had becomean issue. It is extremely urgent to do the economic analysis and policy research.First of all, the article related to international competitiveness theory were summarized, anddefines the concept of international competitiveness of agricultural products, and lay theoreticalbasis for the following analysis of international competitiveness of agricultural products inShandong province, and build the agricultural international competitiveness evaluationsystem.Then,this article carries on the analysis to the Shandong agricultural products productionand trade present situation. The result indicates, recent year although Shandong agricultural tradedevelopment good, but there are still some problems, including: The dominant species isrelatively single, low value-added products; Export market competition, the impact ofinternational competitiveness; Export market is highly concentrated, trade risk is too big;Labor-intensive products with technical barriers to trade. Then on the basis of above, build theevaluation system, this paper first use of the international market share, trade competition indexand revealed comparative advantage index of Shandong and Guangdong,Fujian,Zhejiang, andother four major agricultural exports province of Liaoning province in agricultural productcompetitive ability, analyzing the international competitiveness of the agricultural productsexport in Shandong province and the change of situation in recent years.Secondly applyingprincipal component analysis and then to make a horizontal comparative analysis of theagricultural product competitive ability of the provinces, and describes the general characteristics of the Shandong province agricultural product competitive ability.Finally in this paper, on thebasis of the theory of porter’s diamond model, analyze the international competitiveness ofagricultural products in Shandong province conditions, in the analysis of the influence factors onthe basis of, on how to improve the international competitiveness of agricultural products ofShandong province proposed the related countermeasure and the suggestion.
