Urbanization is a system invoved economics, resources, location, systems andso on, each aspect can not be ignored. Compared with other aspects, economic andinstitutional are particularly important, and the impact of institutional to urbanization isrigid, once established, it is mandatory and sustained, called "institutional inertia." ininstitutional economics. Stage in the reform of our country, the system itself is a strongfactor, rational system will promote the rapid development of urbanization, whileunreasonable system would severely hinder the development of urbanization, we choosethe perspective of the institutional environment to study urbanization base above.First,I explain the basic concept and theory of urbanization and institutional environment,then the analysis of the main factors affecting urbanization is given. The most importantfactors of resources, institutional environment, economic development status are listedseparately to analyzed. And explain why choose the angle of the institutionalenvironment.To make the argument more persuasive, I have a quantitative analysis inthe third chapter, the establishment of resources, institutional environment, economicdevelopment level indicators for the evaluation system, the results of principalcomponent analysis also validate the importance of institutional environment.Institutional environment is not easily explained its relationship with urbanization as asystem that contains a number of factors,so I selected the land system, the householdregistration system, the social security system as a representative, through the analysisof the current status of the three systems, summarized problem hind urbanization andpresented in accordance with existing problems to improve methods andrecommendations. The innovation of land institution incluses the clear rural landownership, the right to a free flow of land management system, rich peasantscompensation model. The innovation of residence institution is to promote thedevelopment of rural economy and promote rural property capitalization, and guidingfarmers to small towns settled, supporting institutional reforms proposed. Theinnovation of social security system includes expanding coverage, building amulti-level social security system to improve the fairness.
