There is very important significance ofthe development of intellectual property service to upgrade industrial structure, transformthe mode of economic development and promote comprehensive development of economyand society in our country. The work of intellectual property is highly valued by CPC andGovernment. The Third Plenum of18th CPC emphasized that to deepen the reform of thescience and technology system comprehensively, strengthen intellectual propertyprotection and utilization, and it also puts forward new requirements for intellectualproperty service.Since being the Municipality directly under the central government, Chongqing, asthe "bridgehead" of the Chinese western development, takes science and technologyinnovation very seriously and the speed of transformation of high-tech achievements veryquick. The level of intellectual property protection and management is continuing to rise;Intellectual property agency, consultation, training and other intellectual property servicesalso gradually into a system.However, there are still problems, like smallness of industry scale, lack of servicebrand, the shallow service level, weakness of service ability, scatter of service and the shortof specialist, so that cannot adapt to the needs of the industrial and economic development.The intellectual property service is still a long way to go.This thesis, which focuses on the current situation of intellectual property service inChongqing to research and put forward a series of innovative suggestions and comments,has important practical significance.The thesis uses the method of combining theoretical research and empirical research.Read and analysis the related information on intellectual property service at home andabroad by the methods of literature analysis, comparative research, then explore the frontiers of theoretical research and practical experience, research deeply the situation ofthe development of intellectual property service in Chongqing through the ways ofquestionnaire and depth interview, research the current situation, the main problems andthe actual demand of the service object in the development of intellectual property service,for exploring and promoting the efficient developmental thought and method of theintellectual property service in Chongqing.
