With the ever increasing social dependence on electric power and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the demand for the electricity service is also increasing. By the development of the performance appraisal of the power supply enterprises, the main problems existing in the daily works and the difficult problems worried by the power consumers can befound in time. By solving these problems, good image can be set up for the power supply enterprise.Now, the study on the performance appraisal of the power supply enterprises are mainly focused on the qulitative analysis of the corporate management style. Because of the lacking of the quantitative research on the performance appraisal, the synergistic improvement of the corporate management style is difficult to get. So, the theoretical and application study on the performance appraisal of the power supply enterprissehas the important theory significance and practical application value.Firstly, the qualitative analysis methods, such as observational method, interviewing method, typical survey method, and quantitative analysis methods, such as questionnaire survey method, data envelopment analysis method, social indicator method, are analysed. The American Customer Satisfaction Index is also discussed.Then, the evaluation process of the performance appraisal to the power supply enterprise is set up which divided into three stages:planning, implementing and rectifying. A evaluation model and an index system for the power supply enterprises are designed. In this evaluation model, the appraisal subject and index system are empowered applying analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method.Finally, the performance appraisal to the Liaoning Electric Power Co., Ltd in2012is taken as a case study. The result shows that the evaluation model of the performance and index system presented in this paper are objective and effective for the power supply enterprises.
