Setting a feasible evaluation index system and using the scientific method to measure the level of modern agriculture development in Guangxi will demonstrate the trend and the stage of the agriculture development in Guangxi。With the in-depth analysis of the advantages and disadvantage in the process of modern agriculture development will make a great effort for the griculture development in Guangxi.First of all the study referenced relevant theories of modern agriculture of domestic and foreign research, then specific the characteristics of modern agriculture.By the hierarchy analysis and expert consultation method,the study build a set of scientific evaluation index system of agricultural modernization, and then on the basis of a large number of chart data to the overall level of agricultural modernization in Guangxi, and with detailed analysis of various index level of the modern agriculture development in Guangxi,systematically analyzed the agricultural development present situation in guangxi.Then with comparing the situation of various aspects of agricultural modernization in Shandong Henan and Hunan,found the advantages and disadvantages of Guangxi.Study found that the agricultural modernization of Guangxi is in the initial stage and the development is not balanced.The indicators in the first-level indicators, including agricultural environment protection are the main advantages index, input to agriculture and the rural social development level is the obvious short plate in Guangxi;In the secondary indicators, the ratio of urban and rural income, rural Engel’s coefficient, leisure sightseeing agriculture income, unit of cultivated land area of total power of agricultural machinery, state-level modern agriculture demonstration park, national leading enterprises, the ministry of agriculture designated wholesale market for agricultural products is more specific vulnerabilities, Those indicators should be paid important attention in the development agricultural modernization of Guangxi.In the future development of agricultural modernization in Guangxi,the government of Guangxi should actively learn the experience from the developed areas, and give full play to the advantages of their own characteristics,at last to promote the further development of agricultural modernization with the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure.
