Study Relationship Between Urbanization Level And Industrial Structure In Hubei Province

The adjustment of industrial structure can improve the urbanization level, and improvement of urbanization level can improve the adjustment of industrial structure. So, urbanization and industrial structure have the correlation and coordination.Study the correlation and coordination between urbanization level and industrial structure in this paper. First, both of urbanization level and industrial structure divides the quality and quantity. Take GDP per capita as the quality index of urbanization and the proportion of urban residents as the quantity of urbanization. Take the proportion of industry output as the quality of industrial structure and the proportion of industry employment. After analyze the data of Hubei province between2000and2012by Eviews, find the correlation of quality urbanization level and first&second&third proportion of industry output have the significant positive correlation&the significant positive correlation&the insignificant positive correlation, and the correlation of quantity urbanization level and quantity industrial structure have the significant negative correlation&the insignificant positive correlation&the significant positive correlation. Second, compute the comprehensive level of urbanism and industrial structure by AHP method and formula of comprehensive level; find the comprehensive level of urbanization was far below the comprehensive’level of industrial structure. Third, the coordination of urbanization level and industrial structure did not reach the high quality. After further study, the un-hi level of the second quantity industry and un-hi level of the third quality industry were the main reasons of un-hi urbanization level, and low level of third quality industry&the second quantity industry&the third quantity industry were the main reasons of low level of industrial structure. Base on above, improvement of the level of the second&third industry and integration of urban and rural areas can improve the level of urbanization and industrial structure. Urbanization and industrial structure reach the coordination in the end.
