China is the biggest beekeeping country and its number of beekeeping and honeyproducts has been ranked first in the world. Since the reform and opening up, China hasexperienced rapid development in beekeeping, consolidating and improving and steadygrowth in the three stages. Currently, the number of bees in China reached9millionpopulations, more than170,000households bee households, there are around about340,000beekeepers, our honey production has been44.8million tons in2012, honey output exceeded50billion yuan. Bee both for the food, but also drugs, and gradually extended to makeup,beauty and other fields, a new direction at home and abroad honey industry. China now honeyconsumption is only about one hundred thousand tons, in large part for export. With theimprovement of people’s living standards, increasing incomes of urban residents’bee diversityand the needs of the aging trend of gradual strengthening, development of the bee industryusher in a new level.Firstly, according to the basic theory of the supply chain, the supply chain of honeyproducts are divided into upstream (beekeepers farming work), midstream (mainly bee corebusiness and the wholesale, retail enterprises) and downstream (consumer) three sections,respectively analysis of the status quo.Secondly, this paper analyzes the factors that influence the development of China’s beeindustry. From the upstream point of view, our natural environment, infrastructure, knowledgebeekeepers and related support government policies have become an important factoraffecting the development of beekeeping. From the middle and downstream reaches of view,the core business is one of the main factors, another major supply chain based evaluation toselect four more representative factors, namely bee main business production costs,information transmission, the size of business assets, and honey honey production to beemain business profit as the independent variable, to measure the relationship between thesevariables were analyzed; Finally, a case study by China’s famous brands of honey from abusiness perspective analysis argues that various factors influence the development of thecore business.Thirdly, from the teiminal point of view, the author conducted a consumer survey on theconsumption of honey products, access to basic situation of consumers, but also for a largesupermarket supply chain executives, university teachers and other leading researchersconduct research, access to the main index score, this did AHP analysis, consumer factorsaffecting honey products derived primarily consumer prices, service, safety and brand.At last, based on the above analysis, in order to promote the development of China’shoney industry, countermeasure proposals are: improving infrastructure, creating a favorableenvironment beekeeping; promotion of farming technology training, improve the policysupport for beekeeping; changing the honey industry "three lows" situation, to enhance theeconomic efficiency of enterprises; focus on technology and service innovation, enhancebrand competitiveness; learn from the experience of developed countries, and apply theirknowledge; improve our information delivery mechanisms to promote the development ofthird-party logistics; promote market system, standardize the market order; stimulateconsumption and expand domestic market share.
