The Research Of Liaoning Province Industrial Clusters Upgrading Based On The Multi-level Innovation Network

Equipment manufacturing that undertakes task of providing production technologyand equipment for the national economy and national defense construction, is a corecomponent manufacturing. After half a century of development, equipmentmanufacturing industry in Liaoning gathered many resources, is an important productionbase of equipment and make a significant contribution to the national economy. However,the equipment manufacturing industry cluster in Liaoning Province also showed someproblems such as Lack of Innovation Impetus, R&D capability is weak, low technicallevel, in the low-end of value chain. So cluster upgrading becomes a pressing issue.According to the existing problem in the process of the upgrade of LiaoningEquipment manufacturing industrial cluster, the author comprehensively applies a seriesof related theories, such as the basic theory of industrial cluster, the theory of industrialcluster’s upgrade, cluster innovation network theory and so on to study the mechanism ofupgrading. On the basis of mentioned theories before, Author put forward a Multi-levelinnovation network which composed by internal network, the industrial chain network,Cluster external network. Explores mechanism of the multi-level innovation network topromote cluster upgrade and constructed mechanism model. The author studied the issueof Multi-level innovation network to promote equipment manufacturing in Liaoning toindustrial clusters upgrade. Then select cases of the equipment manufacturing industry inLiaoning cluster analysis the status and the stage of their multi-level innovation networks.At last make recommendations to upgrade path which promote the equipmentmanufacturing industry in Liaoning upgrading.
