With the continuous progress and development of science and technology, information technology has become to promote economic development and social progress of the inevitable trend. Agricultural information is the only way to achieve sustainable agricultural development; agricultural modernization strategy is the key to success is a strong guarantee for building a moderately prosperous society. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, as a big agricultural province of China, large-scale production and industrial management of agriculture and animal husbandry degree is not high, agricultural economic development and farmers’ income levels are relatively low, limiting the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s economic and social comprehensive development, hindering the pace of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to achieve modernization and to improve overall strength. Therefore, to strengthen the construction of agricultural information technology research, seeking agricultural information development mode suitable for China’s national conditions, with a strong theoretical and practical significance.Based on the research achievements of agricultural information summary and analysis on the use of econometric methods, information on the status of agriculture and animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia and characteristics were systematically analyzed to reveal the Inner Mongolia agricultural information problems faced by the construction, agriculture and animal husbandry clear objectives and directions of development of information technology, provide effective targeted measures to promote the economic development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
