Only strict control over the production process of insulator, step by step to improve, to guarantee the safe operation of power grid.In line with the project master the principle of combining with practice, this paper takes place internship company DH basin insulator products quality improvement as the research object, in view of the basin insulator product quality problems in the process of production, based on continuous improvement in the quality management and process management of knowledge as the theoretical basis, innovations based on the PFMEA method. Through the analysis of product quality problems and reasons existed in the use of PFMEA method is used for potential process failure analysis and influence the quality of key process records, puts forward the main factors influencing the product quality. Application of process management is put forward for the perfection of special process and traceability process method, in view of the manufacturing process improvement.To experiment and analysis the results, and effect evaluation. In2013produced basin insulator for4378, nonconforming a total of109, the product percent of pass is97.4%.In2012produced basin insulator for3076, nonconforming a total of154, the product percent of pass is95.0%. Compared before and after improvement,2013annual increase of1302, increase rate of42.33%. Nonconforming reduce45, reduce the rate of28.76%.Product qualified rate increased by2.4%. Quality improvement is effect, it has achieved the goal of improved.
