With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, knowledge workers in today’s society as an important carrier of human resources, the use of their knowledge and innovation to create value account for a growing proportion of the overall value of the community. All walks of life how a manager characteristic for knowledge workers to be effective human resources management and improve the performance level of knowledge workers has become an important issue of human resource management theory and practice operations. However, there is also a critical period of social transformation, the rapid expansion of all kinds of information through the Internet, the interests of the community to constantly adjust, residents gradually accelerate the pace of life, the. whole society increasingly rapid pace of development, which also led to employees facing more to the greater pressure of work.This article is under such a realistic background, work pressure at home and abroad through the theoretical and empirical analysis conducted and summarized, select the country architectural design industry knowledge workers as the research object, through questionnaires understanding of architectural design industry pressure status of the work of knowledge workers, and on this basis to explore the relationship between job stress and job performance, and made a number of recommendations for the management of human resources building design industry knowledge workers stress the status quo, with a view of the company’s human resources management workers inspiration.Research for this paper work pressure measurement scale after the Q reference Ivancevich and Matteson (1980) directed the pressure measurement scales, Lianyin Zhou and Yueping Zhou (2004) work and life stress questionnaire compiled by Xiaodong Xu (2008) directed the manager the special nature of the industry and the self survey questionnaire from work pressure, referring to the Jun Liao (2011) Master’s thesis work performance questionnaire formed a working paper on the performance scale, Sichuan, Anhui, Shanghai, Guangdong and other places of the building design industry employees conduct research, and the use of SPSS19.0statistical software for data analysis questionnaires.Firstly, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire was tested, after confirmation by research requirements descriptive statistical analysis of data to understand the stress of the work of the architectural design industry knowledge workers, and then analyzed by independent samples T-test and ANOVA found outside of the demographic variables except gender were significantly different degrees of impact on job stress and its various dimensions. And later conducted a correlation analysis and regression analysis showed that the different dimensions of job stress on the job performance of different predictive power of different dimensions, which desired pressure, career development pressure on task performance has a positive role in promoting the work itself and the pressure, role ambiguity and conflicts are on task performance have hindered, whereas desired pressure has a positive effect on the relationship between performance, role ambiguity and conflict, pressure on the relationship between the performance of their ability to have a negative effect, while on the job performance overall, career development pressure and expect pressure on job performance has a positive role in promoting the role conflict and ambiguity and pressure on their ability to hinder job performance. According to the results of our regression analysis, the pressure and expectations of career development pressure is defined as better pressures, the role of cognitive ability and fuzzy with its pressure is defined as inferior pressures.From the staff to improve better pressures, reducing inferiority pressure, establish effective information transmission mechanism, a clear job roles, reducing the working pressure of the pressure, attention to individual differences of employees, reasonable arrangements to carry out the work and employee assistance programs to alleviate pressure on employees working in four areas gives some suggestions on the architectural design industry knowledge workers for effective stress management, thereby improving employee performance, and thus better achieve organizational strategy and objectives, which to some extent reflects the theoretical value and practical significance of this article.
