ABSTRACT:At Knowledge Economic Age, the competition among worldwide companies is not only focusing on economy and technology but more essentially on corporate culture. Economy and technology are actually reared by profound cultural heritage, which is the lasting initial impetus to promote sustainable development. Thus in the uncertain and rapidly changing competitive market, in order to achieve the goal of long-term development and occupy the highlight of market, private enterprises, which playing an important role in economic growth of Hunan Province, need to adjust the position of enterprise value and structure of resource allocation to improve the competitiveness of corporate culture. This paper aims to thoroughly study the evaluation of private enterprises’culture competence in Hunan Province, with a theoretical and practical significance.The paper firstly introduces the research background, purpose and significance as well as domestic and foreign scholars’research and different understanding on corporate culture. Then, this paper elucidate theories about corporate culture competence as well as the presentation of status quo of private enterprise’culture competence in Hunan Province and some methods and models to study it. After that, according to the factors of corporate culture, corporate culture is divided into five dimensions:material culture competence, institutional culture competence, spiritual culture competence, conduct culture competence, learning culture competence. Based on those five factors, we construct an corporate culture competence indicator system to evaluate private enterprises’culture competence in Hunan Province.Finally, combining Delphi Method, Analytic Hierarchy Process, Factor Analysis Method and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model, we build an corporate culture competence evaluation model to appraise private enterprises’culture competence in Hunan Province. And the results shows that Sanyi, Xunda and Kemeida are the most cultural competitive enterprises among the10private enterprises chose in Hunan. Besides, it can be concluded that Hunan private enterprises’culture competence is at "stronger" level. Because almost all the dimensions of culture competence are at "stronger" level, except for the study culture competence, which is at "general" level. At the end of this paper,we provide some recommendations on how improve corporate culture competence in line with the evaluation results.
