Throughout the history, from thelaw of replacement of industry, The rapid growth and development of informationindustry which finally be the leader is the law and trend of human society andeconomic development. However,In the different stages of economic development,thedevelopment and Influence of the information industry in different countries andregions is different because of the differences in levels of economic development.Hunan province as one of provinces that need to develop the economy, developinginformation industry to promote the overall economic development in HunanProvince is particularly important. In this paper, from the perspective of economicgrowth and economic structure,we will study the influence of the information industryto economic development of Hunan province, put forward the relevant policyrecommendations, and promote the development of information industry. First of all,to reviewed relevant theories and research at home and abroad, and introduces theendogenous economic growth theory, the industrial measurement and relatedmeasurement model, provides a theoretical basis for the analysis and researchmethodsHunan province as the central provinces of industrialization, economicdevelopment lags behind that of the coastal provinces. But after recent years ofdevelopment, the economy of Hunan province on the total amount and incrementalgot great development, the informatization degree is also increasing. From the perspective of economic growth, theinformation industry development directly contribution to economic growth in Hunanprovince was6.96%, the spillover effect of information industry growth is22.8%,so information industry’s contribution to the economic growth in Hunan province isbig; From the perspective of economic structure, the use of the time series of theobjective reality of the information industry based on VAR dynamic study of theimpact of the economic structure, the information industry impact on the threetraditional industries in the short term each are not identical, affects the process andperiod is different also, but in the long term of three times industry have equilibriumrelationship and a strong role in promoting. According to the analysis conclusion, wecan adopt relevant measures or strategies, make the information industry promote thedevelopment of economy in Hunan province better.
