Study On The Dominant Industries Evaluation In Nyingchi County

Tibet as the gathering area of minority, the path of industrial development is not only relatedto the sustainable development of the regional economy, but also related to national unity andpolitical stability. Nyingchi Prefecture (NP) as one of the seven regional composition of Tibet,its level of development cannot do without the overall environment of Tibet economicdevelopment, and its selection and development path of the advantage industry can alsocontinue to promote regional economic and social development. This paper makes acomprehensive study on the three industry in NP, and static and dynamic evaluation of NP’scompetitive industry of has been made by the use of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis,shift share analysis and cluster analysis. By doing this, we can reflect NP’s industry dynamicchanging process; puts forward the optimization suggestion for future development ofindustry environment, and make contribution for the sustainable development of regionalindustry.In this paper, based on the current related theory about dominant industries, combining thepresent industry development in NP, using the method of dynamic shifit share analysis, wecompared NP’s industrial development as a whole with the development of Tibet, also NP’sseven counties’ industrial development with NP, quantified the region’s industrial competitiveadvantage and structural advantages, and characterized the future direction of the industry’sfuture development. Firstly, we described the background and significance of evaluation ofthe advantage industry, and the status of industrial development as well as the theoretical basis.The research on regional development through the spatial and temporal heterogeneity analysisleads to the main problems to be studied in this paper, and the grasp of regional developmenton the macro. Secondly, we discussed the background of NP under the overall industrialdevelopment research and industrial development in Tibet. Descriptive statistics wereobtained by analyzing NP and Tibet’s industrial changes from gross and proportion in the period from2002to2012. Then, we got an initial cognition of NP’s industrial developmentand industrial structure. Then, we analyzed NP’s regional composition which is NyingchiCounty, Millington County, gongbo’gyamda County, Medog County, Bomi County, ChayuCounty, Long County. Seven counties’ three industrial development has been analyzed bystatistics and comparative analysis, and we also use cluster analysis to classify the level ofdevelopment in seven counties from2002to2012with confidence on the macro level. Thirdly,we used Dynamic Shift share analysis to quantize industrial advantage in two aspects. Thegrowth of industry was decomposed into three components growth component,proportionality shift and differential shift. On the first level, we analyzed the difference inoverall development from NP to Tibet, and discussed the future direction of the industrydevelopment from the aspect of industrial structure and competitiveness. On the second level,we calculated the growth of industrial development amount and the deviation of the strengthsand weaknesses of existing industrial development from NP’s seven counties under thejurisdiction of Nyingchi County, Millington County, gongbo’gyamda County, Medog County,Bomi County, Chayu County, Long County’s development gap with NP. After that, weprovided some policy for the development of industrial development suitable for localconditions. All in all, we provided corresponding ideas and Suggestions for region’ssustainable industry development in NP. On the basis of quantitative analysis, combined withthe natural resources conditions of NP, the paper formulated industry development planning,and provided some ideas for the development of three industries. We also provided somesuggestions from three aspects, including the investmentThrough the analysis of this article, we analyzed how to achieve sustainable industrialdevelopment not only from the history of industrial development in the recent ten years, butalso evaluated advantage industry from the aspects of structure advantage and competitiveadvantage. This article provided corresponding theoretical guidance for the sustainabledevelopment of industry in NP.
