After the establishment of Korea and China in May1992, the investment of Korean companies in China is increasing rapidly. With the increased investment, more and more to the problems faced by Korean Companies.In China many foreign companies are facing the problem of companies with the industry, regional, and morphology of different period. The bottleneck, however, which these invested companies have in common is the matter of labor management. The main purpose of the Korean companies to invest in China is stable labor management, the use of Chinese labor. Therefore, we must improve labor productivity, and ensure the competitiveness of the enterprise can effectively for labor management.So that, this paper analyzes the in China Korean small and medium-sized companies labor management status, so as to reveal the contradiction between enterprise and employees, and explore suitable for the Korean small and medium-sized enterprise and Chinese employee labor management scheme. The study is done through analyzing various records, statistical data, and firsthand information collected from interviews with Chinese workers, Korean company executives and managers within China. The study includes the comprehensive analysis on the characteristics of China labor market, the changes of China labor environment, China labor laws, China labor management system, and the actual labor management conditions of Korean small and medium-sized companies within China. Based on this analysis, this research suggests a final plan for improving Korean small and medium-sized companies’ labor management.Foreign invested companies in China is facing the problems of the opaque Chinese legal system and the frequent policy change, the characteristic of socialist market economy as well as the importance of the relationship of labor culture. In addition, foreign invested companies in China’s labor management common problem is the lack of understanding of the Chinese legal system of the locals’ lack of respect, lack of contribution to local communities. Specifically, it turns out that the key problems among Korean small and medium-sized companies in China are lack of labor management localization, unsystematic type of labor management, aggravation of labor-management relations due to excessive working hours and high level of labor intensity; due to lack of good working environment, pay attention to the achievements and interests, apply mechanically the existing labor management model.So that, Korean small and medium-sized company to be successful in China, there must be on the basic premise full knowledge of China’s laws and observance, understanding and respect for the locals, contribution to local communities. And then, there should be needed considerate labor contract and layoff for workers, respect for the views of Chinese staff, strict application of regulations, specialization of dispatched worker, fair and open personnel management, high efficient wage strategy, various incentive wage system, prevention of job change and workmen’s accident through improved labor environment, cultivation of local manager and authorization, intense educational training of workers, proper understanding on labor union and construction of cooperative relations, utilization of labor union’s essential function, disentanglement of labor-management conflicts through grievance machinery, appropriate strategic labor management suited for individual corporate environment.Most important, the fact must be kept in mind that labor management decide success in business administration; scientifically approached labor management system should be formulated from the comprehensive perspective; labor management attitude which takes advantage of various local characteristics in a reasonable and positive manner is required.Finally, I hope that the improvement plan proposed in this paper will be a help to maxim ize the economic effects of China and Korea.
