With the accelerated process of economic globalization, competition amongenterprises gradually showing intense degree, it’s more difficult for company alone tomaintain stable growth, in this case, many enterprises gradually from full competitionconverted to cooperative competition.Strategic alliance is a typical way of cooperation and competition. Strategicalliance means that two or more companies through a variety of agreements, contractsor equity investment to form a complementary, risk-sharing, a cooperative mode, inorder to achieve business goals (such as market share, cost control, reduce risk, etc.)The McKinsey report shows that since the1980s more than800enterprises havebeen involved in the strategic alliances technology companies, only40%maintainmore than four years, only14%last more than a decade. The results of this surveyshows, although strategic alliances have many advantages, high risk still exist, whichbecome an important affect part of the overall operation, and control is an effectiveway to reduce the risk, so study on risk control of strategic alliance to reduce specificrisk have a certain meaning for theoretical and practical analysis.(1) Through analysis risk ex-factors of strategic alliance (opportunism, boundedrationality, uncertainty, asset specificity, and transaction frequency) to form thecorrespondence.(2) Though two control strategies (performance evaluation strategy and truststrategy) and control modes (behavior control, social control, output control, goodwilltrust, competence trust) to infer control relationship between relational risk,performance risk and control modes.(3) Presents a comprehensive control model, from the identification of riskfactors corresponding to control model by taking consideration with strategies toreduce strategic alliance risks.(4) Through two strategic alliances to validate and apply the proposed strategicalliance risk control mode.
