Study On Manufacturer’s Logistics System Optimization Based On Logistics Cost Management

Along with the in-depth of the reform&opening-up and economic globalization,the business competition becomes more and more drastically. China, as the factory ofthe world has many manufacturers with various sizes, operation levels as well as theprofitability, However, it is getting harder and harder to increase the profit rate bysales growth no matter what the type of the enterprise is. So in this case, the only wayto increase the profit rate is by trying reducing the cost. Unfortunately, the hike of theraw material cost and the labour cost caused by the development and inflation areshrinking the room of the cost-reduction. Therefore, the logistics cost which accountsfor large proportion among the total costs to be the focus of the cost management.On basis of referring to relevant theoretical studies, this thesis shortly introduceslogistics development foreign countries and also introduces the current status of thestudies domestically, then introduces the concept and composition of the logistics cost,underpins the importance and necessity of the macro analysis.Modern logistics is recognized as “The third profit source” following “The firstprofit source” labor and “The second profit source” nature resource, the reduction ofthe logistics cost is the key to ensure that. Analyzing, controlling and optimizingevery factor and every party of the logistics system is an effective way to make ithappen. So the thesis mainly studies the optimization measurements to improve thestorage、transportation and information exchange. The second half of the thesisexpatiates the effects the cooperation of the parties of the logistic system such as rawmaterial supplier, the customer, the third party logistics supplier as well as thegovernment organization, the insurance company imposing on the logistics cost.Meanwhile, the thesis also comes up with a few measures and artifices for the sake ofsaving the logistics cost.The thesis also points out a few key points to remind the relevant participants tokeep the sustainable and innovative thought in order to maintaining the advance of thelogistics management level.
