Study On Competitiveness Evaluation And Promotion Countermeasurement Of Heilongjiang Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Equipment manufacturing industry is a fundamental industry, whichprovides technical equipment for national economic development and defensebuilding. Equipment manufacturing industry, with character of high demandingflexibility, industrial linkage, economic traction and technology heaviness, is amotivation of national economic increase and technology advancement, afundamental carrier of hi-tech industries, and an irreplaceable base in industryupgrading. Heilongjiang province has focused on developing equipmentmanufacturing industry since the establishment of People’s Republic of China,and is a fundamental part of northeastern industrial base of China. Most of theequipment manufacturing industry in Heilongjiang province was deployed underthe planned economy according to state industry deployment, but as the policy ofopening-up and reform proceeded, the equipment manufacturing industry inHeilongjiang province, highly planned-economy-oriented, suffered down-turn,due to its slowness in economic transition. With the historic opportunity ofinvigorating the equipment manufacturing industry, the thesis has practicalsignificance in solidifying and giving play to equipment manufacturingindustry’s strategic leading role in regional industry, accelerating Heilongjiangprovince’s industrialization process, and realizing regional industry＇ sgreat-leap-forward development.In this thesis, the research status of theories and methods in competenceevaluation both home and abroad is firstly studied. Based on this, a r egionalindustrial competence evaluation index system specific to equipmentmanufacturing industry is established, and its evaluation methods are decided,and the competence of Heilongjiang equipment manufacturing is compared andcalculated by qualitative analysis, quantitive analysis, statistic analysis andcomparative analysis. Finally, the promotion counter measurement onHeilongjiang equipment manufacturing industry is raised, based on thetheoretical analysis and counter measurement analysis. This thesis offers atheoretical basis for changing Heilongjiang equipment manufacturing industry status in national competition, accelerating regional economic development andgovernmental relevant policies drafting.
