With the development of the two concepts on harmonious society and sustainabledevelopment in China, corporate social responsibility has become a popular vocabulary in thesociety, and being highly recognized and supported by the community. CSR has also becomean important part of corporate competitiveness at the same time. But currently in theresearching part and in practicing part of CSR theory, people tend to focus on the externalstakeholders, ignoring the most reliable and supportive inner resources to the corporate, whichare the employees. This article implements a practical investigation on the same corporatesabout their performance on the CSR to employees part and their competitiveness part.Through this investigation, the current state of their corporate social responsibility to theemployees and their competitiveness can be analyzed. Then this paper carries out the factoranalysis and the dimensionality reduction to analysis these two factors, which are CSR toemployees and corporate competitiveness. Finally, the hypothesis test and data analysis havebeen used to explore what effects can CSR to employees makes on corporate competitiveness.With the reviewing and combing on a large number of literatures, this paper designs theevaluation index system of corporate social responsibility to employees and the corporatecompetitiveness. So this paper can use those indexes to design the questionnaire for the twofactors, and then put forward the research model of the effects that CSR to employees makeson corporate competitiveness. So as to carry out the research hypothesis on them, whichrepresents that the three dimensions of corporate social responsibility to employees ispositively related with the corporate competitiveness. To test these hypotheses, this paper doesa empirical research on the relationship between the two factors, and use the mathematicalstatistics analysis software to do the test. The analysis result demonstrates that the twoquestionnaires have good reliability and validity. The results verified the CSR to employeesand corporate competitiveness has a significant positive correlation. But the result betweeneach dimension of the two factors is different. Among them, the development responsibility to employees can significantly enhance the corporate short-term competitiveness. The worksafety responsibility to employees can significantly improve the corporate long-termcompetitiveness. In addition, the development responsibility to employees is helpful toenhance the corporate long-term competitiveness though the effect is not so obvious, so is thework safety responsibility to employees’ effect on short-term competitiveness. But the worksafety responsibility to employees will weaken the corporate competitiveness in both shortand long term.
