Active fulfilment of corporate social responsibility can help an enterprise build good relationship with multiple stakeholders and enhance its strength comprehensively.Stakeholders here include suppliers,employees,customers,communities,government and the environment,etc.Among those stakeholders,employee is the most important factor in an enterprise's performance.Employees are key to an enterprise's development.In that case,how to improve employee performance in order to keep the enterprise's competitiveness remains an important issue in corporate management.So it is very necessary to study,from the perspective of employees,the mechanism and effect of the relationship between corporate social responsibility and employee performance.This thesis studies the relationship corporate social responsibility and employee performance from the perspective of employees.Through literature review,it studies the relationship between employees' perception of corporate social responsibility to employees(P-CSRE)and employee performance,between employees' perception of corporate social responsibility to others(P-CSRO)and employee performance,and between P-CSRE and P-CSRO themselves.Then it proposes a hypothetic model,which is tested by hierarchical regression using data from surveys.The study indicates that P-CSRE can produce positive effect on enhancing employee performance.And P-CSRO can affect the relationship above.P-CSRE can also affect the relationship between P-CSRO and employee performance.When PCSRE is low,P-CSRO and employee performance have a negative relationship.When P-CSRE further increases,the relationship between P-CSRO and employee performance turns to be positive.This thesis proves the interactive effects between employee performance and P-CSRE and between employee performance and P-CSRO,providing a new perspective of enhancing employee performance for managers.
