In recent years, self-owned-brand automobile enterprises are developing rapidly.After getting part of the inland market shares, they have set out to expand the overseamarkets, and already begun to take shape. When expanding oversea markets, mostself-owned-brand automobile enterprises have learned a lot from foreign automobilebrands and drown on the experiences of them, and at the same time, basing on theirown characteristics, enterprises are finding their own ways of development, whichgathers precious experiences for our self-owned-brand automotive technology’sexport. However, due to the lack of core technologies, the weakness of brandcompetitiveness, imperfection of after-sales service system, and the extremely highcost of overseas operation, self-owned brands are so hard developing overseas insome ways. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the export modes of our self-owned-brand automotive technology, and lay the foundation for oversea markets expandingof Chinese automobile enterprises.Based on the detailed analysis of the development status of self-owned-brandautomotive technology, the overview of the development of home and abroadautomobile export industrial policy, the export mode of Chinese self-owned-brandautomotive technology, and the necessity and the feasibility of oversea businessexpanding, this article comes up with a new kind of self-owned-brand automotivetechnology export mode basing on the “whole value chain”. The paper elaborates thecomposing elements and the significance of implementation, and does the SWOTanalysis. The article introduces the the details of the operation mode with low cost,and implement the risk pre-warning and the countermeasure analysis, which lays thetheoretical basis for the globalization of Chinese self-owned-brand automobiles in thefuture.The paper contains six parts. Part I is the introduction, which mainly argues thenecessity and the feasibility of oversea business expanding of Chinese self-owned-brand automobiles, introduces the automobile export industrial policy and thedevelopment status of self-owned-brand automotive technology,introduces related theory. Part II states present situation of Chinese self-owned-brand automobiles andthe export mode of its technology, which paves for later research, and points out theproblems of Chines technology export mode. Part III comes up with the new “wholevalue chain” export mode, states its internal and external constitutions, andimplements the SWOT analysis to find out the inadequacies and the risks. Part IVintroduces the market selection and the low-cost operation mode. Part V points outthe risks and the countermeasures to run that new export mode. The last part, Part VI,is the future expectations. It reasonably forecasts the development trend of the newexport mode of our self-owned-brand automobiles for the reference of self-owned-brand enterprises.
