The Application Of Lean Production In Company Z Welding Shop

With the development of social technology and the production level, the differencebetween enterprises increasingly narrow and the advantage is difficult to maintain.Themanufacturers in order to survive and development in the fierce competition, continue toseek a more advanced scientific production organization. Because, on the successfulexperience of domestic and international business development point of view, the use ofthe scientific method and rational management thinking is the most reasonable andeffective way.Lean production originated in the Toyota Production System. The introduction of leanproduction has more than30years. The studies of lean production system more focusedon punctuality (Just-in-time, JIT),5S, Six Sigma, Kanban production management,continuous improvement concepts and concrete technology research, on the whole, thedomestic enterprises lean thinking is also lack of sufficient knowledge, lack of awarenessof its importance, and more focus on specific Lean methods and means to improve, whileignoring the nature and content of lean production, ignoring the corporate lean culturetraining, there is a big gap between lean thinking and the actual promotion of universaleducation. Lean production methods can be applied in both large enterprises, but also insmall and medium enterprises. The past five years research was focus on small andmedium enterprises in the application of lean manufacturing obstacles and resolveoutstanding issues and research methods.This thesis applications5S, set management, site management and other theoreticalmethods, we have on-site rectification on the Z Corporation welding shop, and re-layoutthe production process according to the workshop, in order to achieve the purposes ofimproving plant productivity, reducing inventory, reducing waste (including materialwaste, human waste, etc.). Ultimately, lean production in the welding shop will promotethe successful experience of the whole company extended to other production units, andbecome the formation of the overall lean production management, reduce the company’sproduction costs, improve the company’s margins and profitability.
