| In this dissertation, practical problems of production operation in manufacturingenterprises workshop were analyzed, solutions to the problems were seek and acomprehensive improvement strategy was setted and implemented with technical means ofmethods study and work measurement, based on the basic theory of industrial engineering.Industrial engineering theory and methods was applied for production operations andmanagement optimization in traditional manufacturing enterprises.Firstly, the significance and importance of applications of industrial engineering forChina’s enterprises was analyzed, the current situation and future trends of applications ofindustrial engineering. Then, problems of production line of Y enterprise workshops wereanalyzed based on the technical method of industrial engineering. While the typical objectto be developed was identified, comprehensive improvement plan was made according tothe principles of workshop equipment layout and concept of production line balance andprocess optimization with research tools such as process analysis and time measurement.During the whole process, delivering and transportation at work site was optimized,workers walking distance and time were reduced significantly and the cost of productionwas saved. Meanwhile, powerful guarantees for the follow-up processes were provided.According to the design of material storage, improvement of process flow and optimizationof operation, production line was re-balanced, the bottleneck station was eliminated, theonline spare rate was reduced, the production cycle was accelerated and production wasincreased.The rationality and feasibility of the improved program were proved to be significantby improve outcomes and economic benefit, not only for continuous improvement ofenterprises, but also for optimization utilization of industrial reengineering project in othermanufacturing enterprises. |
